Happy Birthday, Kiki!

Not a few hours after writing about her, my baby dove Cappy passed away this morning. She was fat and happy and went peacefully after a long life being cooed at and sung to. I was in 4th grade when I brought her home from a neighbor; amazing to think she’s been around for 2/3 of my life.

I’ll miss her!
